Why does New York have such a large population?

The fact that New York is one of the United States’ original colonies and that it is largely coastal, with the Atlantic, Lake Champlain, the St Lawrence, and two of the Great Lakes around it, are the two main reasons for its massive population.

These are the first places people go because of their proximity and accessibility.

It is also the world’s commercial and cultural center, with a beautiful natural harbor and all of the present jobs.

New York attracts millions of visitors since it is considered as one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, particularly among Europeans and citizens of the world in general.

Many people are unaware of New York’s demographic edge over other cities in the United States. The population of the New York Metropolis, with 8.6 million people, is more than double that of Los Angeles, the country’s second most populous metropolis.

As long as Manhattan is a global financial and economic Mecca, New York will remain one of the world’s most populated cities.
