    John has TYPE 2 Diabetes not TYPE 1. TYPE 1 Diabetes is an auto-immune disease. Please help educate everyone on that there is a difference. It does not matter how many candy bars, juice, or sugar John consumed, it would not cause TYPE 1 Diabetes.
