Those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan often come home at some point during their tour for a week our two of R&R so this is not a pregnancy fail at all.

I’ve been married to my soldier for six years now without a single temptation. It’s not uncommon for military couples to get pregnant during leave. In fact it’s brilliant and I have considered this plan myself! That way, hopefully, dad is home and doesn’t miss the birth. If this was a pregnancy due to unfaithfulness I doubt she’d bare her tummy with the words “Welcome home DADDY!” painted on it to humilate herself and her soldier.
