Brittany Maynard is 29 years old and she was diagnosed with brain cancer. At first, doctors gave her three to ten years to live, but subsequent tests established that her brain tumor was more advanced and aggressive, she had glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), the deadliest type of brain cancer there is.
