Awesome! I applaud your efforts math teacher! It should be a wake up call for our nation’s youth. Its ridiculous as to the state of our education ratings compared to other countries.
Rather harsh. This is obviously a college course in lower level math, looking at the name and info at the top left of the paper. I barely scraped through math and science during my BA days. But I now have my MA in English and once my language skills are up to par, an MA and PhD in History. So failing a lower level math course does not relegate you to a job at McDonalds.
Hey Brit–in the US, it’s MATH. There’s a difference between US English and British English. You speak it correctly for an English person in England, but we speak it as Americans, so get over yourself.
Good for you, Karen. Who needs this kind of Brit arrogance? Maybe s/he doesn’t recognise that there is both English Lit and American Lit – for a simple example ! Yes we have dropped the ‘z’ in recognise since the sound os more in keeping with “s” than “z”!
This math teacher is officially awesome. I think failures should just fail, they deserve no help if they are not willing to try. And anyways, the world needs ditch-diggers too.

Me, in the UK where we speak English properly. It's our language!!
9:33 pmSpelling the name of the subject correctly would be a start – it’s maths. That’s mathS! With an ‘s’!!! Unshortened, it’s mathematics, not mathematic.
