If video games make you happy, play on, and find someone to play them with. The phrase “man up” is insulting to both men and women. You can look just as attractive in a tank top and ratty sweatpants as in a suit. Do what makes you and your love interest(s) happy on a date, whether there’s alcohol and a fancy dinner or just soft drinks and gaming, and it doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or a guy or, hell, one of each, if everyone involved is okay with it. Or if you want to spend time alone, feel free, because there’s nothing wrong with *not* being in a relationship.
