    Since when is Western Europe a country? Compare it with continents and is the second largest after Asia.

    Wow are you dumb, at what point did they say that they were comparing it to “other” countries? Comparing land mass has absolutely nothing to do with the classification attached. Way to miss the point.

    A) I said doh. B) My point still stands, if the author didn’t erroneously add the word “other” the point of this little exercise was to compare the land mass total of Africa to other land masses that the audience would be able to recognize and therefore realize the size of Africa in comparison.
